A Man Who Helps

One of my favorite things about being married to John is that he is a man who helps. He learned it from his dad, who learned it from his dad, and he is now teaching it to our children, passing on an example of love and service to God, family, and community. Sometimes, when I think I just can't take another twin midnight feeding, John is there to cuddle with them and help them realize that they don't need to nurse to be comforted back to sleep. They love to cuddle up against his strong, warm body and they often drift back into a peaceful slumber...

...and so does he... :)

Thank you for every single thing you do for our family, John. I couldn't ask for a better husband and father to our kids. Love you...

  4. Well, the truth be told, it is Jen who inspires my actions. If it weren't for her example of dedication and service, I am certain I wouldn't be so willing to jump in an help her out. She is the true hero in all of this. My contribution is paltry compared to what she does!
And....... SHE is the best wife anyone could ever hope for! She is a true inspiration to me!
    Love you dear..........

  6. I'm very happy I found you today on Photostory Friday. Your twins are adorable, and much younger than mine, who are almost 24 years old! Loving hubby help is essential to surviving twin babyhood, I think.
Oh, and we have nine children, too.

  10. I have been reading your blog for a few weeks now without posting, but I couldn't not post today. Your husband is an amazing man; and from what I read on your blog you have an amazing family. I struggled to adapt to our new baby last year - but am finally getting there, and reading your posts reminds me how I couldn't have come this far without my own good man behind me. An inspirational post to remind us to appreciate our blessings.

  18. How nice! My husband is like that too. It IS nice to see that there are guys out there that still help and teach their sons/daughters how a family should be.

Btw, I TOTALLY agree with your 'daughters friends'/ son's friends' post. lol
