And guess what? When I'm done blogging, I get to sleep in spot number two of five. You've gotta love it!

Our kids all have their own bed... but 5 nights out of the week they end up in ours at some point during the night. Where did you get a bed so big, we want two more kids and wonder where they will sleep when they all come climbing in!
ReplyDeleteGood for you. At one point we had a king size bed...when more kids came we put mattresses on the floor and lots of blankets. My kids always slept through the night, when they were in bed together. If they were in their "own beds" I was up all night. Didn't seem to make sense to me. So the family bed it was for us also. They do eventually move out and want their own space.
ReplyDeleteYou are so luckY! How cute. Hope you found your spot.
ReplyDeleteLol. I started to sleep aloe since I was 6 years old. So, I never know how it feels to sleep together with my parents and my brother. Oh wait! i sleep together with them when we go out of town. Yes! and it was very fun! I miss those moment. and i will miss it more when I am moving out. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThat is funny. You have a very big bed! It reminds me of mine except our bed isn't that large. We all squeeze together and I always end up on the edge.
ReplyDeleteThere is almost never a night that my kids don't sleep with me. Usally ending up with my husband on the coach because there is bo room left :)
ReplyDeleteI couldn't do that all the time! But I love my 2 year old daughter to come in bed in the morning with us and laugh at funny things we all do.
ReplyDeleteKrisi, we have a king sized theraputic mattress on the floor and a twin mattress right next to it. The whole thing is surrounded by pillows so if the twins fall off, they don't get hurt. That's the only way we could think to work it out! Maybe one day we will get our rustic black canopy bed frame put together, but for now, this works for us!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute picture! ♥ Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWe do the family bed as well with our baby. The older two want their own space so are in a room together. Works for me!
ReplyDeleteI am a new visitor. What a sweet post.

I don't mind kids in my bed, but when they bring their toys & books, & other stuff along it gets a bit out of control. Last night was a doll house...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture! We have never *knock on wood* had the kids invade us at night. Hubby and I share the bed ... just barely. I can't imagine adding the little one's in. They did, however, sleep with us in our bed until about 6 months old. Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteHow cute, and that is the biggest bed I have ever seen!!!
ReplyDeleteI love to sleep with a baby! I promised myself our children wouldn't sleep in our bed, BUT I let the youngest, and he was the hardest to get out, and STILL, at 18 yo, loves to sleep in our bed (some evenings I don't think he's going to leave and go to his own). What a darling picture of your babies (all 4 of them)
ReplyDeleteHow happy and safe, and secure you all must be in there together. I had my little girl in with us while I was nursing (much to my health visitors horror - it is very frowned upon here!) and it was one of the best parts of those first few blurry weeks when I was trying to adapt to new motherhood. If we are blessed with another wee one (DV....) they will be in with us too! If it feels that right for all the people involved then how can it be anything but the right thing to do! I think it's wonderful you are all in together!
ReplyDeleteBlessings for the coming weekend to you and all your little brood, whichever bed they are in!

Love this pic!
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to add that I just read the post about your father and wanted to say..sounds like a fitting tribute for a great man. :)
ROFL - same here although less often in recent months. We'd wake up to find all three boys and the cat in our bed, with dh and I clinging to the edges to keep from falling off :). Bitty still sleeps with us every night (whether or not we start him out in his own bed) but as our twins get older they are preferring to stay in their own beds (they like to sprawl out).
ReplyDeleteAhhh, I was wondering how big that bed is! Clever idea :)
