You asked to see it: My Lovely Lady Lump

Me, at exactly 37 weeks...

The 14-year-old girl just saw this post and said that I have more like 5 or 6 lady lumps. I'm choosing to dismiss that comment.

  1. You look beautiful.

You look so skinny with a basketball out in front. So cute!

The baby looks low, has he dropped already? Do you usually come on due daye or early?

It's so exciting that the time is almost here. Keeping you in our prayers.

  2. Oh, thank you, Thorney! I don't think the baby has dropped already. I think I've been carrying him low this whole time, as I haven't had much trouble breathing, like I have with my other pregnancies, but my thighs and hips will start burning, and then fall asleep if I stand too long. Makes preparing dinner difficult! In the past, I have delivered anywhere from 10 days early to right on the due date. I've never been late. Hopefully, it will be more like 10 days early! That would be only 11 days away!

  10. Hi John & Jen :-}

John, I've mentioned before that you don't fool most of us by coming in under the title "Anonymous". Now Jen goes and refers to you as "you anonymous sexy man!" Your cover is totally blown dude ;-p

Jen, while looking at the pictures of you, all I could think was "WOW!!" While she looks V E R Y pregnant, she also looks as though she probably hasn't gained even one additional pound !!! Amazing!!!

I'm sorry, but the fourteen year old girl does make a valid point o;-p Don't worry, her turn will come ;-b

So you've always come early or exactly on your due date huh? Not fair! I was three weeks late with the first one, ten days late with the second, 5 days late with the third, and on the due date with #4.

I carried #1 very high. He bruised my upper ribs so bad they came to the surface. However #3 never rose from the time of conception (the dr.'s termanology ;-p) I was waddling with him by my fourth month. Bladder control? Yeah - definite challenges there - that was his kicking bag. Carried them all so differently and yet they are all boys. Proved the loop holes in that old wifes tale.

  11. Okay, for those of you who are wondering, I've gained exactly 35 pounds. :( Not too happy about that, but usually I gain 50, so I guess I'm doing better than before!

I gave you a blog award today on my page! :o)

  13. You look GREAT!!! However, my favorite part of the pic is that you include the "lump"'s sibblings :)

  14. You look great, Jen! It makes everything easier to be lighter. 15 lbs is like carrying around two gallons of milk all the time. Good job. And, I hope Daniel comes 10 days early, too. And, may your labor be shorter, too. You're in my prayers.

  16. And you were saying that you had gained weight since your honeymoon? You look amazing (and not like you've almost given birth to 10 kids). Wow, no matter how many I have, if I can look as great as you, I'll be happy.
You really are a beautiful pregnant lady. :)

  17. you look amazing. i love a real belly. no other part of you looks pragnant. how in the world have you kept the weight off. i love to hear your stories of teenage boys. i have a 13 year old son

  18. Pam, I haven't kept the weight off! It seems like I keep about 5 pounds with each child that I deliver, which now equals about 45 pounds over the last 20 years! This time, I've already gained 35 pounds, but less than my normal 50, probably because it's so hard to get convenient fast food here where I live in Mexico! Plus chasing 3 three and under all day helps, I think!
