Our New Year's Resolutions, From Mine down to the 3-Year-Old's

In the year 2010, I resolve to... The Word of The Lord each and every day....before I start blogging.

...pray each and every morning with the kids before they go to school. We're pretty good at night time and meal prayers, but morning prayers need improving.

...speak to my kids more kindly and politely, like I would a guest, or a friend.

...clean or organize something for 20 minutes each night after the kids go to bed.

...stop piling miscellaneous items around my house, especially on the kitchen counters.

...put on my make-up an do my hair every day, whether John is out of town or not.

...actually read the Sunday school lesson before attending Sunday school each week.

...consider the needs of my husband more often than I consider the needs of myself.

...make and give away an apron on my blog at least once a month...because I love you!

...complain less and compliment more.

In the year 2010, the 17-year-old boy resolves to... 40 miles at one time before his mission. The Book of Mormon before his mission.

...graduate high school with good grades.

In the year 2010, the 14-year-old girl resolves to...

...get rid of her love handles. able to run fifteen "suicides" up and down the basketball court.

...not fail history or "civismo" (civics, taught in Spanish).

In the year 2010, the 13-year-old boy resolves to...

...earn and save $500.

In the year 2010, the 9-year-old boy resolves to...

,...have time to exercise and study more.

...keep his room a little cleaner.

In the year 2010. the 7-year-old girl resolves to...

...color everyday.

...exercise everyday.

...fold her clothes everyday.

...remember to say her prayers. the scriptures.

...wake up at 6:00 everyday for school.

In the year 2010, the 3-year-old boy resolves to...

...not bite the babies.

...not hit the babies in the face.

...not go to Uncle Glen's without asking.

,..not steal from the babies.

...not kick, punch or push the babies.

Wish us luck!

What are some of your New Year's resolutions? I would really like to know. Inspire me!

I resolve to face challenges with faith in God's Big Picture, especially when I have no idea what the big picture is.
I resolve to strengthen my self by drawing closer to my Heavenly Father through deeper prayer, and more diligent scripture study.
I resolve to care better for my body.
I resolve to do all these things, both for myself, and so that I may better care for my family.

I love your 3-year-old boy resolutions and wish he get them, for the twins' sake.
I've never made, a new year resolution, and think I never will ;-)

love it!!!!

My basic ones are to determine if baby #5 is meant to be or not. If not, lose the weight that I lost and regained. And, also like you- to read scriptures daily and to talk nicer to my family. :)

My only resolution is to post 365 blessings on my blog. There's much more I'd like to accomplish this year (many similar to yours), but I'm putting my trust in God that if I recognize Him every day, He will help with the rest.

Great resolutions. I see the 7 year old girl is a lot like her mom with lots of plans for the new year. ;)

My resolution this year is to take action to be happier. I've planned out the year, with a different focus on each month, January is "spend more time with my kids".

Me and the 3 yr old have a lot in common. My new years resolution also has to do with not kicking, punching, or pushing babies. I figured I'd set a goal that was easily attainable for me. Success! LOL

I like Christy's idea of 365 blessings on her blog this year. I may have to try that.

My resolution this year is to free up my schedule to (finally) start teaching the kids to play the piano.

And the resolutions of your 3-year-old are priceless! :)

Good for you for making goals and thinking about ways to improve. I need to sit down and write mine down so I will be reminded frequently.
