And Yet More Things For Which I am Thankful

I am thankful...

...for all the unfathomable things THIS man did for me...

...that the eight-year-old boy loves to find recipes on the internet...

...that my mom forced me take piano lessons for 12 years (okay, some of the years I actually liked it)...

...that I have a pair of really cute twins...

...that we have chickens...

...for desert plant life...

...for yeast, or else we would have to eat unleavened bread, like THIS loaf in which I forgot to add the yeast...

...when all three of the babies sleep at the same time. It is absolutely euphoric...

...for dark chocolate milk shakes...

...that my dad got to know and love the twins before he died...

...that my 12-year-old loves to save money all year long and buy things like a Play Station and Rock Band

...that I've have learned in my sojourn here on this earth how to fold a fitted sheet perfectly... (click HERE to learn how!)...

...that my mom is GORGEOUS and maybe I'll turn out like her one day!

I am pleased to list this post @...

Wow. What an awesome list. I love the pictures. I think it's wonderful that your son has learned to save money at such a young age. Wish I could teach my 24 year old how to do it.

Your post made me cry, because I could feel the truth in every one of your words. How beautiful that you know what to be thankful for and how lovely that Jesus has given you the gift to express your feeling so well. I love all of your babies, and that your dad got to enjoy them before he went to be with Jesus. Happy Thankful Thursday. Karen

You've got me crying here. I love the photo of your dad with one of the twins. So sweet. I wish my mom could have gotten to know my last three kids. She was amazing.

Mmmm...dark chocolate milk shakes.

How did you get all three of those kiddos asleep in the same place??? I'm in awe. We're about to move and my kids are going to have to share a room, which they have not done before, and I'm terrified!

BTW, I have you an award over at my blog, swing by when you get a chance!
