Gratitude

I am thankful...

...that the 12-year-old boy learned to make yeast doughnuts, covered a piece of cardboard with foil of his own accord, topped the foil tray and the doughnuts with plastic wrap and donated them to the school cake walk...

...that my husband takes it upon himself to buy pipe cleaner and beads while in the states, brings them home and gathers the kids 'round to make Christmas tree ornaments...

...that I have two good, sturdy legs to help me accomplish all I need to do throughout the day, namely anchoring two babies while I stir cooking cranberries as they try to get as high off the floor as they can...

...that the kids love to help in the kitchen...

...that the kids are learning spanish as we raise them here in Mexico and I find notes laying around the house like this...

(Translation - Thursday, the 4th of December, AnaLuisa, I can't play because I'm going to El Paso, Claire)

...that the babies LOVE their bath time!

...for movie night...

...that I had lots of helpers when it came to putting up the Christmas tree...

...that the 16-year-old boy isn't afraid to prepare the tree skirt...

...that his friend isn't afraid to twirl with it around his neck, just to make sure it is well prepared for the tree...

...for lots of help with the decorations...

...that Joseph slept in my arms while the kids decorated the tree, thus affording me a moment of relaxation time...

...that we have a beautiful final product with lots of lasting memories...

Such a great kitchen! You have every right to love it and be proud! The kitchen should be the hub/heart of the home and it looks like you and your hubby have done just that.
