How to apply a rustic cement finish to an exterior brick wall:
Step 1: While wearing your PJ's, mix up a wheel barrow of cement...
Step 2: With an experienced helper, go through a run-through of proper application technique. (By this time, you should have gotten dressed for the day.)
Step 3: Grab the cement spatula in an upward-facing position and fill it with cement.
Step 4: In a quick, sudden motion, fling the cement onto the wall. (You may still need hands-on assistance from your experienced helper at this point.)
Step 5: Once cement is applied, manipulate by hand with the spatula until the desired rustic finish is obtained.
Thanks for your help, Johnny and Adrian! Because of you guys, our house is almost done! What would we do without you?
