…did NOT say, “Who’s the hot guy?”
(The 17-year-old boy did have to shave this atrocity in order to register for school, so now I don't have to face the fact that he is, indeed, a man. Yes!...)
#2: I did NOT let Twin A chew on the Word of God provided by our hotel because it would have kept him quiet enough to allow me to check my email for comments…
#3: I did NOT let the twins lock themselves in the hotel closet over and over again, for fun, again, just because it would have afforded me more time to check my email for comments…
Thanks for listening and feel free to leave me a comment, just in case you didn’t get my two previous subtle hints.

My 12 years old daughter, noticing the vegan chocolate chips cookie on your sidebar, says....it looks yummy, what's made of? zucchini?
( lately I put zucchini almost anywhere )
LOL!
P.s.: I'm glad these episodes did not occur :D
I love the picture of Twin A chewing on the Book of Mormon! I am pretty sure you will be able to use that as a feasting upon the word example at some point!
I love it! Feasting upon the word comment was great!
I like his beard..its makes him look so much older than he is. But I think his clean shaven look is so handsome.
Lorie's "feasting upon the word" comment is hillarious!!!!!
Our boys were all early teens or near teens the very first time they stayed in a hotel. I had saved and planned a surprise mini vacation for my husbands 40th B-day - and seeings how we took the trip in mid-Oct. (in MI) we didn't take the camper.
Shortly after checking into the hotel, they were excaticlly thrilled to find their room had cable TV (we didn't at home) AND Scooby Doo was on. B-u-t it was time to eat ... . I planned on eating one meal a day out - breakfast would be compliments of the hotel, and dinner was sandwiches, etc. which I'd brought the fixins for with us via a cooler and picnic basket. But they were so-o-o enjoying watching Scooby . . . that I decided what the heck - and let them eat their dinner sitting in their hotel beds, watching Scooby Doo. (The maids were going to be changing the bedding the next day anyways .. right? o:-p). To this day (11 years later) they still fondly tell that story to people ..
I know that the first time I had ever seen my little brother with a beard it was a shock. He is 11yrs younger than me. It seemed as if he grew up over night.
Thank you for your wonderful blog.
